We are delighted to be sponsors of Cheltenham Paint Festival once more. This year we welcome not one but two fantastic street artists, to paint either side of Gnasher's Chameleon on Cupola Tower. This year's artists are not ones who are shy of the limelight.
Bristol born but now London-based Inkie, is cited as being part of Bristol's golden era of graffiti heritage, having worked alongside the likes of Banksy, 3D and Nick Walker. This man is a seriously credible artist in the street art world! His trademark images of women with beautiful flowing hair incorporates styles from Maya architecture, William Morris, the Arts and Crafts movement and Islamic geometry.
Check out some of Inkie's work here.
French but Southampton-based P0g0 is an award winning stencil artist who is currently making waves with his photo-real stencil art. Last year he created the beautiful piece of baseball shoes dropping in water, which you can find in the Bottle of Sauce pub on Ambrose Street.
Have a look at P0g0's other work here.
Other activities at The Brewery Quarter on 8th September
Budding artists are welcome to join local illustrator Gemma Hastilow from 10am to assist in creating a large Cheltenham-themed work of art - you can find her between Five Guys and Chiquito.
In addition you can see Gloucestershire Morris Dancers performing at 11am at the High St end, whilst Anneli dance studios will have two street dance performances at 1pm in front of Cupola Tower.
