Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of live entertainment as Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup returns to The Brewery Quarter from Friday 26 - Sunday 28 June - arriving a month earlier than usual to kickstart festival season in style.
Bringing together live music, comedy, magic, family entertainment and festival favourites, Summer Jam offers something for everyone across three packed days of free entertainment in the heart of Cheltenham.
Friday Evening
The weekend begins with soulful sounds and beautiful lyrics from Kytana and Flynn, with Flynn - of Duke Official fame - proudly supporting his talented daughter on stage.
The evening continues with the Mark Walby Band, performing crowd-pleasing classic and contemporary pop and rock hits to get the party started.
Saturday - 1pm to 10:30pm
Saturday’s highlight is the exciting Road to Lakefest Grand Finale, where six bands battle it out for the opportunity to perform on the main stage at Lakefest.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy comedy, magic and juggling performances from Matt Barnard and Gareth Jones AKA Cling Film Guy.
As the night heats up, enjoy live music from Loz Apperley, performing crowd favourites and classic anthems from the '70s to today.
Headlining Saturday evening are Cheltenham beatboxing sensations Duke Official, featuring Ed and Flynn, who have appeared on The X Factor UK and supported stars including Prince, Amy Winehouse and Kanye West.
The party continues into the night with DJ Shippers and Friends hosting a lively silent disco experience.
Sunday - 1pm to 8pm
Sunday focuses on family-friendly entertainment, featuring performances from Cheltenham Rock Choir, Variations Dance academy and more local groups, plus family fun with Phil the Magician.
Live music continues throughout the afternoon with Adam Cross, performing popular covers spanning Oasis, James, Blur, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Rolling Stones and Paolo Nutini.
Visitors can also enjoy the laid-back acoustic sounds of rising local performers Emzy Music and Tate Note.
Closing the weekend in style is dynamic beatbox band Hive, delivering energetic house, hip hop, garage and dance mashups with live beatbox, MC, vocals, bass and guitar.
On Saturday and Sunday, families can also take part in free arts and crafts sessions with Spare Room Arts.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets and merchandise for this year’s Lakefest, taking place at Eastnor Castle from 5-9 August, featuring headline performances from Madness, The Charlatans, Example and Bananarama, alongside hundreds more acts. Book your tickets now here!
