The Brewery Quarter’s Christmas Launch Party 2025: It’s going to be GOLDEN!

The Brewery Quarter is set to sparkle brighter than ever as it kicks off the festive season with its spectacular Christmas Launch Party 2025 on Saturday 22 November, from 2pm–8pm. This year’s theme, “It’s gonna be GOLDEN”, promises a dazzling day packed with festive fun, glittering performances, and joyful surprises for the whole family. The variety show will be hosted by the fabulous Nick Marshall, who has compered the festivities for the third year running.

Headlining the celebrations will be the Huntrix Tribute from Enchanted — the UK’s only unofficial tribute act to the summer’s hit movie, that dazzled millions of fans across the globe and became a true pop phenomenon. Get ready for the ultimate K-pop takedown as the group brings fierce choreography, electric energy and a showstopping performance guaranteed to light up Cheltenham!

Visitors can also look forward to an exciting line-up of entertainment, including:

• Visits from Father Christmas himself throughout the day
• A free Silent Disco for all ages from 6pm
• Performances from The Grinch and Cindy Lou, Phil the magical Elf, Variations Dance Academy, Sing Space Musical Theatre Choir, Stagecoach Performing Arts, The Playhouse Theatre's Dick Whittington pantomime characters and Lakeside School Choir
• Look out for Tweedy and his chums, the stars of this year’s Everyman Theatre Christmas Pantomime, Robin Hood and His Merry Men, opening 28 November
• Magical snow showers guaranteed throughout the day – all under a covered marquee, so we’re perfectly in control of the weather!
• Plus more festive surprises!

The Brewery Quarter will be transformed into a shimmering celebration of music, dance, and Christmas magic, with plenty of opportunities to eat, drink, and be merry across the many bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues.  The festive lights will be on from the start, with periodic visits from Santa and snow showers during the event.

We're answering some frequently asked questions to prepare you for all the fun of the day!

Q. What time are the lights going on?

A. They'll be on and sparkling from the start of the event! Don't worry - there's still plenty of excitement and fun, with various count downs to SNOW SHOWERS throughout the event! It just means you don't have to all come at once and it makes for a more enjoyable experience all round.

Q. What if it's raining?!

A. No need to worry!  We have a large covered marquee in the main stage area, plus plenty of lovely warm venues for you to relax in and enjoy refreshments during the event.

Q. What time is everyone performing?!

A. From 2 - 4:30pm we've got dozens of very talented youngsters and locals stars who will be performing in choirs, stage schools and dance schools, thanks to Lakeside Primary Young Voices choir, the Playhouse Theatre, Stagecoach Cheltenham, Sing Space Musical Theatre choir and Variations Academy. They'll all be bringing energy and excitement to the afternoon! Santa will be popping out every hour and offering a chance to win some fabulous prizes!

From 4:30 - 6pm we'll have even more entertainment with Santa, The Grinch, then the fabulous Friar "Tweedy" Tuck with his Everyman Theatre friends from Robin Hood, who will add a touch of crazy and hilarious laughter to the mix.  We're excited to welcome Phil the Elf - one of Santa's magical helpers to the stage, with Huntr/x taking over at the end.

From 6-8pm it's time to get your dancing shoes on as we welcome back the fabulous DJ NHALU and newcomer 15 year old Josh Elliott for our Christmas SILENT DISCO! They will both will be spinning some absolute festive bangers and party hits on two different channels for you to take your pick from.

Q. Do I need to book tickets?

A. NO! This event is absolutely free as always.  However, we do recommend booking a table at your favourite Brewery Quarter venue in advance, as it will likely be busy if you're planning on staying for food on the official first day of The Brewery Quarter's festive season!

Q. How long will it take to get here?

A. Do allow for traffic to be busy on the weekend and please plan accordingly.  We recommend adding at least 30 minutes to your journey time, depending on where you live!

Q. What should I wear?

A. Dress for the weather.  The forecast is relatively mild with a chance of showers.  We love a festive jumper though if you're asking!
